Garlands
********
Pretty flowers on cotton strings -garlands
Joyously grace framed pictures in our lands
Pleasure to see yet pictures are blind
Only few days flowers and pictures bind
Mother Nature has a different plan in mind
The soft pretty flowers shrivel and dry
Alas ! pictures never mourn or cry
The lovely garlands torn unceremoniously
Cast into wayside bins whistling merrily
The labour of Nature and the human hand
Oblivious.. begin work anew unfazed
Flowers bloom again garlands remade
Through ocean of History skeletons wade
Night-Fairy Gardener with silver spade
She must work quickly else the moon'll fade
Solution: A Paper Lei
Paper and plastic flowers last until the paper is crushed or gets wet and fades or the plastic cracks and chips- real flowers just don't last long enough for me. Now dried flowers ... :D - Lady A

Your read is my reward Respected wordfriend Lady
Someday man'll invent chemicals which may keep plucked flowers fresh for longer periods. A pinch of salt in water does a good job. In any case I'm certainly NOT a fan of artificial flowers ........ Too fake

The Boycott Is Over
soooo for the last two days I have been looking at national catalogs of seeds, annuals, and perennials. My aunt loved plastic flowers! Paper ones are the most realistic, but there can be no substitute for one real dandelion, made by god - Love & Prayers for painless peace and calm seas, my friend - Lady A

You read my rubbish for which I'm indeed grateful Respected A/S
I wonder when the carcinogenic "plastic" will stop its perennial invasion .. I'd prefer the salty sea in a wood coffin that a perpetual plastic one ~May the sea waves bring U warmth and calmth ~ Ever your wordshredder~B
