See What Is Not Mine
Losing something you don't have
Looks like don't shouldn't be there right?
Well then how come it feels like
What I don't have is going out of sight?
Maybe I should try something new
And leave this room of mirrors
But I don't wanna
Thats why I've been at it for nealy four years
This poem isn't for your entertainment
Nor is it for mine
It's a way to pass time
Until I can see what is not mine
I want it so bad
But it's something I can't have
I really want it back
It's something I must have
The longer I don't have it
I loose more of myself
I feel like I'm falling apart
My line of books is knocked off the shelf
I'm a computer without internet,
A t.v without a remote
It still works I guess
But standing to change the channels a joke
this probably isn't what you wanna hear but "you can't always get what you want" (come on sing it cause now it's stuck in my head and it should be in yours too)... well basicaly what i'm saying is it's not the end of the world and beating yourself up over it just makes it suck a whole bunch so take what you have and be happy or don't look at what you can't have
its not the worst poem nor is it the best ...its a good idea for a poem topic though...it could be a little better exicuted but ...i dont think thats a issue for you
