Happy

I'd be happy
With you and your factory job
In our two bedroom apartment that we can't afford
Giving up my coffees and riding the bus

I'd be happy
Well you read me Hemingway
And I paint my poems

I'd be happy
If it were you and me,
Wearing old t-shirts two sizes too small
And cuddling close at night

On your bed of nails or my bed of roses
I'd be happy

With all the moments we could ever steal
I'd be happy forever
As long as you'd be happy too
