No wrongs are accepted, working all night
Cleaning the house until it all look
Perfect, then brag on facebook.
Loving your man, trashing you boss.
Shouting out about your loss.
Private things you share, snippets of a life
Craving sympathy based on a lie.
Wake up little girl and take a good look,
at the pages of your history book.
Covering every inch is worthless triviality,
nothing of importance or immortality.
Face it ”miss perfect” you’re not all that
Though your hair is all shiny, your stomach so flat.
You’re still nothing special, nothing achieved
Just being alive, no ideas conceived.
Your inside as average as the rest of the world
No hidden treasures to be unfurled.
Painfully normal, a hard label you wore

But thanks:D I produce slowly though, mostly writing when my head is so full of stress that things bubble over. The first verse used to be me. At least until I realized what sort of person I did NOT wanted to be. We all have a little "facebook-whore" in us, I think.

very nice.. good work..i sometimes think and wonder what would happen if facebook shut down for a week? they would go back to myspace till someone makes a new site... then i wonder what would people do if the internet shut down for a month.. good work

I think "the whores" will struggle a bit, but probably find other sites to exhibit themselves. Oh, no! If internet close down I'll be in trouble. Then my students would know how very little knowledge I have(and I would have to go to bank to pay my bills)

it's funny that Facebook. Personally, I have a hard time posting too much personal on that site. I imagine other people are that ways too. Sure makes for SHALLOW relating. I see people get deep once in a while. But it seems poets are the ones who really hang it all out there and get real.
