Not worth this fight...

I’ve been conceived in the wrong light,

My conscience isn’t worth this fight.

This struggle to rediscover my mind,

When all the while, there’s nothing to find.

You care for me and help me through,

Even though you shouldn’t do.

Im not worth this, I just cause pain.

And in my presence, that’s all you’ll gain.

But you won’t listen to what I say,

For you carry on loving me anyway.

When in your heart, I’m always in debt.

As soon enough, you will regret.

You are too good to be my friend,

You’re in my soul, you I’ll defend.

The past pretence you have of your life,

Whilst carrying on, through this you strife.

Let me go, acknowledge my worthlessness,

As everyday I love you more to the less.

You mean too much to me to let you carry on,

Please understand that in me you are wrong.

You are not able to believe in me,

For, I will let you down eventually.

And as I rock back and forth parallel to time,

Soon it will stop and you won’t be mine.
