Liar Liar

.

My sensitivity for catching lies

sent as truth arises suddenly. When

you are caught confess with denial,

blush, back up, be invisible

in your prevaricativity.

.

Just try to tell it without embellishment

not how you wish it to look better.

Rain will always be wet, fire

will always singe. Like sin,

go out and lie no more.

Liar liar:

Just loved the rhyme in this poem. Do little white lies count, just being polite and saving a lot of warfare I think.?

Situational Ethics

to save someone's feelings or whoppers to save lives - oh yeah. That's me usually until it blows up out of all proportion and I'm forced to own up - a warfare option turns to surrender and defeat - we all do it. We probably always will. Thanks for stopping by for a read and taking the time to comment tongue in cheek like. ~A~

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."
