I did not know
that flowers wept.
Somber sadness
in a mountain meadow.
A longing so severe
tears form on columbine
petals.
.
Moving through air
ghost memories
of breath slipping
away. Stems gently
bow.
.
Poet troubadour,
a writting knight sings
against the glass night
as if configured eternally
in a series of stars, a
constellation coded
a flower's tear.

Somber beauty
Such a heart-filled tribute.
Just prior having read a couple of his pieces, I found reflections on existence that dug deep. Seems to me to have been a precious voice who thought he was more obscure than he was. This is a beautiful tribute to your friend.
