Silent Love

I feel lost among a sea of stars, drifting ever so slowly. Watching as a celestial voyeur the tumultuous fires consume themselves, until nothing is left. Desiring to engulf all that surrounds their beauty as the fuel for their existence.

I feel separate from them, wistful for the peace that seems to elude them, yet I can't seem to avert my eyes, drawn hypnotically at their destruction, desiring to set them free from the slavery they seemingly do not realize they are in.

I call to them gently, whispering in their ear, proses of love and gentleness, come away with me my beloved, share with from the fountain of life. Leap among the beauty and lushness of my embrace. Draw into me and become one, breath of my breath, blood in my blood entwining into the hazy realm of eternity.

Unable to hear, they become angry at my calling, fearing to become something they can never be, it is death to them. Only if they could understand that without my darkness they could never be. I am the nothing their light burns against, I am the nothing they they fight against. The silence that their voices melt into, and still I am invisible to their soul.

"I am

the nothing their light burns against, I am the nothing that they fight against"
That, is by far, the most powerful line I have ever read. To determine the power and presence of love by the nothing that stands in it's way.
I bow to you.
