Every year around this time is when the gutters start to clog so I need to put buckets and bins out to catch the overflowing water so it won't flood the gangway and go out and sweep the leaves from the huge tree in the yard in the gangway so that the small drain does not get clogged and the gangway won't get flooded...Every year around this time I debate about whether or not I should get gutter guards or have the gutter cleaning place come out once again to clean the gutters out....I heard too many things about gutter guards getting clogged anyway or that it is like not having gutters which would be just as bad as overflowing gutters...so that is why I usually just end up getting them cleaned...Anyway I didn't know it was supposed to rain last night but got in the habit of going out to check the gangway drain for leaves covering it like a vacuum anytime it rains...and to see if I need to empty out the buckets and bin...so this poem decided to show up...
