or anytime you’re feeling blue…

look into the eyes of your child

or any child

and you will see…

a blessing looking back at you

Today’s blessing comes from the Shawnee chief Tecumseh

I thank him for giving me a rest…

besides there is nothing I could addl…because Tecumseh said it best.

So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart.

Trouble no one about their religion, 

respect others in their view and demand that they respect yours.

Love your life, 

perfect your life, 

beautify all things in your life.

Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people.

Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.

Today may we all be blessed to be guardians of angels

May we listen and heed the prayer each angel brings with him or her 

as their life begins to unfurl:

My journey has just begun

protect me

and guide me

so that I will know all the beauty in the world

I wish I’d written today’s blessing

because I loved it the moment I read it…

I wish I could give credit to the person…

but I do not know who said it!

And though I never knew the person who wrote this

never heard this person speak…

It is a wonderful blessing…with which to start the week:

Our ears for compassion

Our hands for charity

Our minds for truth

And our hearts for love.
