Life has taught me a lot about this world and relationships. I have always been stabbed in the back by those who called me their "best friend". Everybody in this world has shattered my trust except Donna Patricia...my most admirable and devoted friend...may God Almighty always bless her...Aameen.
This poem is inspired by the latest stab in the back...as is the poems I posted a day ago titled "Inward Peace" and "Trust and Mistrust". Like the proverbial donkey and the father and son...it is difficult to please everybody...but it is also most painful to be hurt by a friend...who called me "best friend".

God Almighty works in His own wondrous ways. What started off as a queer misunderstanding is turning into a beautiful friendship. It rains and I feel joyous and elated. All praise to Allah. She is a friend who comes like the much-awaited shower...gentle, musical, harmoniously similar and soul soothing...unexpected gifts of the Creator and Sustainer, the Omnipotent Lord God.
