IN DIRE STRAITS!

Summer gone,
Pale autumn lingers,
While winter knocks on the door.

O my soul!
How this world's ordeals,
Make me tougher... and tougher...

Let it rain,
And dreams be refreshed,
Let solitude be comforting.

Ah! My friend!
You "are in dire straits"
With home, wife, children, mom?

Like the fool
Who makes wise men laugh
Even you make me holler.

Why say more
Why share my feelings
When you are in such "dire straits"?

Having all
A home and its warmth
You still keep complaining.

Amazing
Are the words you say
Not always but quite often.

Friends should be
Caring and comforting
Or is it expecting much?

In "dire straits"
You flirt with your life
O my friend, the choice was yours!

Unlike me
Shaken, yet smiling,
While defying snarling whirlpools.

On my own,
With only my God,
As my best protecting Friend.
