BREAK UP SUCK BUT LIFE GOES ON    

Is it indeed better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all?  I do not think this is so.  In my experience (though it is limited) ignorance is generally an acceptable substitute for bliss.  Would the man have remained lonely had that fateful comet passed him by?  Probably.  But it would have been a dull ache in comparison to the sharp burning pain which drove him to end his life after his lady left him for better things.

This isn't one of my best poems.
