Teytonon commented on: What Was And Is by crimsonangel24 2 weeks 1 day ago
This is a very powerful..: This is a very powerful, well written piece which clearly expresses both your anger, frustration, and eventual acceptance of what must have been a very painful episode of your life. Well done. You mention you have another 12 years to go on probation. As this was written in 2013, that would mean your probation would end next year. You won't be a slave to the penal system anymore. If you're not a slave, would that make you a master? I, for one, believe I am.  A master who believes in probation. Yes, I'm definitely pro 'master'-bation.

" . . . Like me they are fugitives of sameness . . .": Being surrounded by numerous poets here who are far more trained in poetry than I, all I can say is that I was moved by this poem especially the line cited above.

The lasting impact of this: The lasting impact of this skillfully crafted flash of reality is amazing. There's so much immersive power, so many stories, in the words "delusional paradise". Painful and stunning. Excellent work.

The way you intertwined the: The way you intertwined the cosmological, the ethereal and the human manifestation of the sublime is spectacular. This is certainly the fulfillment of your aspiration and it was a pleasure to witness its unveiling. The last two lines, being the heart, soul and lifeblood of your achievement, contain the billowing and crashing force of an orchestra.    I would call that success. Congratulations!

I consider it a privilege to: I consider it a privilege to remind you, as often as needed, of your present greatness, and the magnificent niche your poems will occupy in the future.  I may, at times, be repetitious about this.

I adore your life-altering: I adore your life-altering insights into contrast, life as a playful drama, not a senseless struggle and, as you eloquently put it: the veil as a gift. Only an enlightened being who has cracked the code of this wild and puzzling Earth school could have that perspective. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, innate talent and encouragement. You were certainly a bright spot in my day.

How good! I totally ignored: How good! I totally ignored my phone ringing to read this and well I love the ending as much as the faux par. Nicely written held the intimacy and realism well, I felt myself think I've been there before, not the same issue but the same rhythmic dance of words snaking through to get to the truth only to find its actually an eel. Just Good work. Great even! Hugss
