Looks

Looks,

They shouldn't matter,

People say that is not a factor,

But deep down they care how they look,

Or the people that they are with look,

Why should that matter,

God made us all different,

For reasons that are unknown,

But you shouldnt judge people on their outter appearance,

The personality and what is on the inside is what counts,

If you can't see that is what counts,

Then why should I be your friend,

You can at least be kind,

You don't have to push everyone away,

Next time go on what is inside not out,

Don't judge a book by it's cover

Looks.

A very heartfelt, convincingly worded poem about a very old concept. Here's how I look at it: looks catch your eye; what's inside catches your heart. Another very well written poem, Emily.
