Lost in a world of confusion,

Suffocating....

Your hand wraps around my lungs,

Not a breath seeps through,

A single teardrop shed,

Blood runs crimson red,

Drowning....

Your words eat through my mind,

Heartbeat forever stopping,

Throat closing with the force of pain,

No sounds in this haze,

A smoky crimson blaze,

Blood; tears; sweat,

Loves bittersweet lullaby,

Sung from the highest clouds,

Voices whispered promises of forever,

In these sacred moments,

Leave me never,

Till your lies they surface,

Sharper than any blade,

Cutting all layers away,

Till my eyes they see not a star in sight,

Nothing shines bright,

Just this eternal darkness I've created,

Where souls patiently waited,

For their maker to find them there,

In the eternal slumber,

Of there far off land where confusion reigns,

Nothing is as it seems,

No direction; up is down and down is up,

Left is right and right is left,

I've forgotten how to think,

Mind left somewhere at the door,

With the ripped and ragged edges,

Of emotions ripped raw and sore,

Dying....

You kill my slowly inside,

Everythings on lockdown,

Every shattered piece slips away,

Skies shadowed gray,

Raindrops falling like teardrops calling,

A lovesick melody,

Matched by every heartbeat,

No longer beating inside hollow chests,

But in a distant land where happiness ceases to exsist,

Emotion locked in the highest tower,

Like rapunzel waiting for her prince,

To rescue them; set them free,

Live forever,

You and me.
