I don’t understand what is happening

Now I see what I did wrong

Now I am saved and walking with God

This Makes me grow and makes me strong

We know that I can’t change overnight

But you have to see that I am trying to do right

I thought that you would be a friend

I thought that you would understand

It seems like a few days ago

You wouldn’t let my hands go

Now you want to brush me off

Because what I say my bring some thoughts

Some thoughts that will make you want to change

You are scared that you wont be the same

I’m here for you; I will be your angel

I can show you the path that will make you an angel

I am your friend and saved I am

I won’t leave you alone

I will hold your hand

And walk you into promise land

Here by my side we will walk together

So we can meet our heavenly father

And be loved forever in the name of jesus
