The reason I try not to get to close to you
Is because the body has feelings too
My body might send a signal to my brain
That would mean I’d have pain again
If I were to love you again
I would be setting myself up for pain
Like I said before jealousy is a b***h
Something like that could hurt a friendship
I’m happy to still have you in my life
I wouldn’t want anything in the world to spoil that
I want to thank you for truly being a friend
You make me think differently about some other men
No one else I’ve met is just like you
You make me happy and for that I THANK YOU
