Fall

I touched her cheek

as tears ran down mine

on our last night together

a kiss on her forehead

my lips not wanting to leave

I held her hand

as she had a hold of my heart

bathed in the light

as we held the falling star...

nothing can erase this

or end the discomfort

I am crying

I think about us

almost every night

I think about

every single kiss

I think about how

we're living

I think about

why we live like this

and I don't want to fall

never want to fall again like this.

There were poems that I could relate to, and others that I liked, but this one, was my favorite. Creatively spoken.
