I have had to struggle with
I have had to struggle with that quite a bit lately. The novelist Robert Waller said something like---and I am not quoting precisely---"the old dreams were good dreams, they just didn't work out." I think that is a great concept. My niche now is not what I thought, in my youth, that it would be, but it is mine, and I have made my peace with it. Sorry to be so verbose.
