How Do You Say Thank You

What easter means to me.
i can`t imagine,someone dying for me,
nailed to a cross,
and left to die..

Without an evil word,not even a cry,
what kind of a man,would reach down to me,
take my sins along with himself,
and nail them to a tree.

He stands before the father,
professing that our sins have been washed away,
how do you say thank you
to a man that would do this for you and me.

Nail our sins,
to a cross.
and let himself be crucified,
so that we may go free...

You certainly did say thank you, and powerfully, and in a way that reaches to Heaven and lives on forever because you took us with you with your moving words and heartfelt gratitude. What a blessing to float upon this angelic creation.

They got him for political treason: God is the king of kings when no one could say that out loud and live. Jesus was brave. Workin on the Sabbath was a lesser charge, insufficient to get rid of him. Why church and state are separate. :(
