Internet Friends
You know the internet
can be pretty cool
It can help make you smart
or make you act like a fool
You can meet alot of people
chat for hours on end
Some come and go
and some become friends.
You have to be careful
learn to pick and choose
Sometime you win
sometime you lose
Some just want you
in their time of need
If their heart is hurting
and they can't go to sleep
So its best keep your life
all to yourself
For when they dont need you
you'er slid to the back of the shelf...
So for some internet friends
this should be said
Some will stay with you
while others mess with your head....
the "net" is a dangerous place. its like real life. but you get to make it up yourself. you can hide from reality. and stay in what i cal a pretend world. great poem. keep writing
I guess the friends you make on the internet aren't that much different from the ones you meet offline. You do have to be careful, but I've met some really great friends online, and Buren, its a pleasure to meet you.
