crashing down, not lookin up

lookin for heaven, but on my way down

trying to get back to you, but don't know how

the world is bringing me down, how to ignore

the people around, there's nowhere to go

it's hard to find the strength to go on, but it's in you

so i said a prayer, and i found the strength

i was on my knees, and now i'm looking up

nowhere to go, but you'll show me where



i was crashing down, not looking up

i can't forget the past, but it made me who i am

i found the strength, from up above

looking up, not looking down

saying a prayer, i found the one..



tears stream down, from memories of hate

the anger in the arms, have now subsided

peace and tranquiity, i just believed

the bruises and pain, still left in the heart

but now i have, something more...

something to live for, i never had

i found the purpose, i thought i was worthless

i reached out, my hand was grabbed

you showed me what life, was all about..
