Soul's Gateway
His eyes pierce through
her soul's gateway
and catches at the core of her heart;
They cause her to count
every hour, every minute,
every second that they are apart.
His arms swiftly wrap
around her body like a blanket
in the sky that is much like a cloud;
She sinks into his embrance
and completely forgets
these sins which are not allowed.
His presence is warmer and
brighter than any sunlight's
beams that illuminate;
She's continuously amazed
at the escalating level of
which they can relate.
His exuberant youth
puts her at ease and
his comfort is something to which she could adapt;
But between this lust
and emotional hesitance,
her weary soul's so incredibly free
yet ever...
so...
trapped.
