If I Died Today...

If I died today, would you remember me?

Would you come to see me one final time?

Or would you push me out of your memories?

If I died today, would you bring flowers to my grave?

The ones you knew I always liked?

Or would you forget to visit me for years to come?

If I died today, would you show you cared?

Would you cry your heart out?

Or would you just stay there with a straight face?

If I died today, would you come to my funeral?

Even if you were in a different country at the time?

Or would you throw away every last piece of me from your life?

Are you a true friend? Do you care about me?

Would you be there for me until the end?

What would you do, if I died today?

If I Die Today

(or next week peferably) I will be cremated and jarred and tossed unceremoniously into Lake Huron. Face book and a pix so those who knew me or read me or loved me, or hated me or was afraid of me --at al-- will know I sleep with the carp. I want to wash up on shore, be food for zebra muscles, drift to Mackinaw, swing by the Windy City. Yeah Good topic for a poem. Stellar  :D

Re:

Thank you. One can argue I'm suicidal. But I assure you that is not the case. I merely write what comes to me.

Keep on the lookout,  am about to post another soon.

Much love and many blessings
