                   To merge with God I tell myself

                   yet I often wonder... why the separation



                   To realize self in order to realize God

                   yet the lack of self-love is ever binding



                   To become more loving of all mankind

                   yet the storms of hatred seem over whelming



                   To stay focussed and achieve my dreams

                   yet it is now...distractions are numerous



                   -it is now I find myself ever cautious

                   of each step taken



                   -ever mindful of each breath taken



                   Great, has become the need for balance

                   in a world of garnished/tipped scales

                   thus in God, solace is found for all that

                   ails
