I cry

I walk alone,

wounded,

detached from life,

seperated,

with nobody by my side,

I cry.

And now I stand alone,

looking,

to where my life has passed me by.

I cry.

knowing my future,

of loneliness,

I cry.

Tyler,
This one is really sad. In reading it, I wanted to come hug you and comfort you, and show you that you do have a friend out there. Ever since my neighbor committed suicide, I have everyday wondered if I would have been nicer if he wouldn't have done it. This poem is really good.

I also feel this way everyday. We are alone, but we are not alone in the way we feel. Love your work. Delta

My dear Tyler, I hope you are not as sad as you were when you wrote this. Delta Elise

I get a lot out of this. It seems, at first glance, your words describe the loneliness felt after the end of a relationship with someone. On second reading though, my mind was captivated by this sentence "..I walk alone...."--because in a way, regardless of whether we are surrounded by people or not, the journey through our own lives is, in essence, one we travel alone. Sorry! Didn't mean to get so 'heavy'!! Great poem! Great writing!

Yo man, I could really feel that poem dude, nice stuff, but I like this one the best of what i've read because it shows that you can express emotions which not everone, including me, can express.
