I've had you before
Do you remember that night?
It was endless, full of useless promises
We took our bodies in each other's arms
Tasted the salt of our skin
Looked inside our eyes
Searched our souls
Inside the mind it had begun to rise
Its sweet taste took us by surprise
This drug of passion
It has won, gotten through our minds into our bodies
It now flows along in our blood … its color unnoticed
Its scent, undetected
Deep inside it hides
Where it cannot be found.
