At the University of Akron, 6 philosophy profesors
fired for standing in a peace vigil
Dr Marvin Katz, Dr Bernd Magnus among them..
And this week, in the same university, threatening
emails from the administration to faculty..
that they must not cancel class to join students
in walking out for peace
Dr Proenza, like most state university presidents in Ohio,
you felt it a necessary part of the job to contribute
to the candidacy of George Bush.
Please state publicly now that you stand with
peace, and not with the cola contracts and People Soft
corruption in the university.
This city was a city which voted for George McGovern,
which had the highest factory wages in the country at
one time.. this city has always been for peace.
