You tell me to get back on the horse, but I have no stead

My life is an open book, but I cannot read

Life gave you lemons, but I got a lime
My life is terrible, but I'm sure I'll be fine

Indeed

I try to never give a push

to a horse's patush.

That it's all's well to the end part

means it is best to see the play from finish to start.

This may be putting the horse behind the cart

but making absence grow fonder is best done apart.
