The Nice Guy

He was everything I ever wanted

Didn't know what was supposed to happen

We were young, but we didn't know

that it meant we should have took it slow.

The next thing you know, he's right onto me

rushing into things painfully

I try to slow down, but I've lost control

I lost track of the guy I used to know.

It was hard at first, but I took it well

most of my friends, I knew I couldn't tell

The mark on my arm, I hit it on my desk

They were suspicious when I couldn't tell the rest.

I found it all out in the end

even though I could have ended up dead

He was everything I ever wanted

Didn't know what was supposed to happen.
