You Know

All those tear stains on my cheek
are faded memories so to speak
each drop held a precious event
But you crushed my heart to the extent
Every time you said "I'm sorry"
You know I love you "Don't you worry"
But a woman has that old gut feeling
And I knew there was something you wern't saying
So I let it go long enough
Until finally you stepped up
Now men are men rightfully so?
Who likes to flirt and give it a go
No more next time Im letting you know
Coz quite frankly My Dear
Your be out on your own

Author's Notes/Comments:

Living in Asia and understanding their culture, it is common that married men who have money to waste will often attach himself to another female as long as he can afford it. BUT the wife will always be the wife. Hmmmm modern version of concubines?

Great job

I can relate... Most of my poems are due to past relations... Good ones and bad :) I believe relationships give great writing material :) hurt comes with everyone... Of course we have to get the happiness out of the way first :) great job keep up the great work :)

good write.

Men think they can have it all, but they have nothing without fidelity they just cheapen themselves. Some cultures are extreme in this area. Make you think how lucky we are?
