looking high and low

for a snake



(too much development around the temple means

less snakes are coming here. the jungles around have been overtaken by housing estates and shops)

the pain in my heart



Borneo kayan and kenyahs tribes used to keep their ears

long for beauty. nowadays with the advent of television, they feel they need to be like the rest. some feel shy to be walking around with long ear lobes. they are actually clipping a long held tradition.
