Journalism,
a class that I'm taking.
I never would have thought
that I'd take a class
in this!
I like photography
and I like writing,
but there's something
different about journalism.
I've never been able
to be outgoing,
and having to go out
and interview people
that I don't know...
Truthfully?
It scares the
fucking crap outa me!
I don't like that,
it truely scares me,
but maybe I'll be able to
get into it...
your poems that I've read
your poems that I've read have a narrative structure that is good for journalists. but they have a personal confessional tone, from various points of view. simple, but expressive. you can take your own personal voice and lend it to that journalism class; and if there's anything worthy being taught in there, you can embrace that, adding attention to details to your expressive narrative poems.

No. I just meant you have a narrative voice, and that can be useful in both journalism and poetry. That you can play the mediums off each other. And use similar skills in both, which I think you're capable of.
