wandering through mazes of words

in these forests of sentences and thought

i grasp into the couldy air

past the new found sun shining down

for some symbols of some written form

to describe the indescribable you

to put down just the way you make me feel

no word i come across

could even attempt to do either justice

leaving me in uncharted lands

deserts and oceans of strange language

and as i crawl and swim

and dig through both

and as time flies by

with each second passing

i realize i am wasting my time

no mere words

no mere rhymes

will ever be worthy

of you and how you touch my soul
