You follow me every where I go

Where you will strike next, I will never know

When you get knocked down, you want to get back up

But sometimes negativity is too thick and you are out of luck

And if you cannot stand the thought of a new day, then you're fucked

Sometimes the pressure is so strong that I am red

Mistakes pile up and I wish I listened to what she said

Some say that adversity is just a series of bad events, but I strongly disagree

I say that misfortune is a massive black cloud that could pour down at any moment, wouldn't you agree?

Sometimes I struggle with the devil like if my life was far from being serene

Criticism is poison to all, and when you find fault in all, you begin to lose your soul

If  rain symbolizes a series of unfortunate events, then let the rain pour

Because when you get beat up a few times, you need to become a soldier

If you were born an underdog, then you learn how to fight to the death

Underdogs must  fight until only grace is left
