Fail To Recognize

I give

In return, deprive

Empty anticipation

Your acts commended, Fail to recognize

Only for you to heed what you perceive

You turn around, to glance at nothing

Pondering what you've done, yet seem so negligent

Left with contained rejection

I've guided you, now there's nothing here

Resentment

You've bestowed this resonating thought

Inferiority

Is all you've made it seem

Indiscreet

Is what I give to you

It was assumed I could usher you in

Without a second thought

You appear bewildered

Of these spoken words

Given only futile efforts

I withdraw your presence

Resentment

You've bestowed this resonating thought

Inferiority

Is all you've made it seem

Indiscreet

Is what I give to you

You begin to create allegations

That I've taken unnecessary precautions

Undoubtedly I've only reciprocated

This was my interpretation

For that I carry every regret

Sharing what I have

A mistake to grant certainty to the unknown

An audience that I seldom knew

You've unraveled to be incompetent

To the esoteric things I had to say

Resentment

You've bestowed me this resonating thought

Inferiority

Is all you've made it seem

Indiscreet

Is what I give to you

I find it easier to know that you're not here

To spare me of what I had to say

Author's Notes/Comments:

Synopsis: A perspective in which a individual is placed in a state of desperation, to an extent of not knowing who to talk to or approach. In response, there is not much regard or thought given of the grievances vented. This of course is my interpretation.

Engaging Syntax

I like the way you merge meanings, put words together, select images - encore ~Lady A~

p.s. synopsis not needed, this poem is pretty much in your face emotion ~allets~

Response

Thank you, the feedback is much appreciated. I've decided to splice a brief synopsis to fill in the blanks so to speak.
