Stop that pounding in my head.  

The steady beat is driving me mad

But it moves my body



I don’t know what to do

I’m telling you, I don’t

Without you, without your attention

Without your touch, I need it



Everyone tells me I’m lost

That you can’t be reached

But everyone is just me

And then the beat comes in



Now you move so effortlessly

I can’t keep my eyes away

I scream at myself for letting go

Melody starts on the synthesizer



It’s getting late and I hurt

I want to just walk home

Lay on my bed and ache

The song is about love
