There was a young man named Burt

With the ladies he'd love to flirt

But could not get a date

'Cause the ladies would rate

Him a 1, out of 10? That must hurt!

Burt went to see a head doc

Asked 'Why is it me that they mock?'

The doc said 'It's your taste in music

It's what's making them sick

Stop playing acid rock, play them some J S Bach!'

Burt said 'Listen doc

The ladies I know don't care for J S Bach

Most of these ladies 

They grew up in the 80's

They'd prefer New Kids on the Block!'

Doc said 'You know I'm no quack

Your problem is ladies you lack

To get you ladies, we must get bolder

The music you play them should be older

I got it, Burt! Play them some Burt Bacharach!
