to gentle embers

embracing winds

rushing through your

hand, outstretched

driving

down

the

road,

quietly

postulating

kindled, sublimely

from ember to roaring flame

it's heavenly & proximate

messy and subsuming

loving, and intimate

overwhelming & all-consuming

kindled tearfully

from roaring flame

to deafening inferno

raging in it's heart

shadowed away
though

meaningfully enveloped

Then, there was nothing

more beautiful  

than your

glowing convergence
