In The Velvet Of The Night

Sitting alone,
In the velvet of night...
A cool crisp storm rolls in,
As the rain starts to fall...
So do my tears that start to dwindle down from my hazel eyes,
A meager breeze blows...
It caresses my skin like a tender touch,
My mind starts to wonder...
I can't seem to get you out of my mind,
Your touch...
Your eyes...
Your voice...
Sitting alone,
In the velvet of night...
I feel you so close,
Even though we're so far apart...
My lips yearn for you luscious kisses,
My body cries out loud for you bodies embrace...
I'm just sitting alone in the velvet of the night,
Wishing you were here....
