Unrequited Love

Honestly,

It hurts,

It kills,

It brews beneath;

Boils over,

And scathes my heart.

I lay here,

I tell you I care.

I say you're beautiful,

You insist you are not.

I find you mesmerizing;

Every breath of yours,

I breathe in,

As it enters my lungs,

Euphoria is found;

So enveloped;

So obsessed,

Never possessive;

Yet, wanting you,

So,

Fucking,

Bad.

Waiting for rejection,

For you to be done.

Insecurities,

So deeply inbedded.

My chest tight,

My breath light.

So many questions,

Too afraid to ask.

Swallow me whole,

Ingest me,

Make me a part of you,

And I will be happy.
