I’ve noticed now that this can’t be repaired

I still can’t forget the way you reacted after not seeing me for a while

I remember the way you stared



I know to say goodbye should be so sad

To say goodbye to everything we could have had

But you and I together is not a good thing

It’s wrong & it’s bad



So this is goodbye to you

And hello to never seeing you except when were trying to be friends

Yet still trying to avoid each other on parallel ends

Goodbye to you

Someone I should have known

Non surviving feelings that could have grown

Here I am walking away again to be alone



This is my goodbye to you

I hope you forget the way I look

And the way I felt

Close off the memories of me like pages in a book

I hope you don’t think of me…

Imagine me there for a moment

Feel me holding you, my hands on your back one last time



I hope your sky always remains to be blue

And I hope you are happy,

Moving on with your life

Do you see me wave goodbye

Almost as confused as the first day I met you

Saying goodbye is always hard to do

Unless you’re saying goodbye to a person you never knew

Just like me saying goodbye to you.
