My friend and I,

We'll always be

Friends forever

For eternity.



She goes through pain

I've never known.

Her life is troubled

Unlike my own.



I wish I understood

The pain she endures.

I wish I could make her

Feel somewhat secure.



It's gotten so bad.

She can't take it anymore.

She thinks to herself,

"It's not worth living for."



She's considered driving

Her car into a ditch

Or overdosing on advil

Saying, "Ain't life a bitch."



I wish I could take

The pain from her life.

I wish it was me

Who bore this strife.



I'll love her forever

With all of my heart.

Like a sister to me,

We'll never be apart.
