ROYAL WEDDING

It was just a royal wedding

twas several years ago

the groom was tall and handsome

and the bride was all aglow

It was in a tiny kingdom

way far across the sea

and cathederal bells were ringing

as the bride walked down the isle

in white and silver

for all the world to see

It was a fairy tale they said

and they loved each other dear

and they lived together several years

in that kingdom not so near

God blessed them with two daughters and a son

which made their life complete

and when they appeared in public

the shouts and cheers of their subjects

to them was oh so sweet

They seemed to get along so good

in their palace oh so grand

as tall ships sailed into the harbor

bringing visitors to their land

And money flowed in billions

for gambling and casinos made the land

so very great

but alas, the devil always deals his hand

and sorrow was their fate

And one day as she drove her new

sports car

up the mountain steep

the road was slippery from the rain

the night before, and she lost control

skidding down the mountain

to the valley far below and deep

Now the kingdom was in mourning

and her husband hung his head and cried

for in the twinkling of an eye

his lovely princess wife had died

But life goes on and so he lived

like a hermit all alone

he would not marry ere again

for all thought's of love for him was gone

Now they fly together in the sky

Renier and his lovely Grace

and hand in hand they soar the kingdon

called God's awesome gleaming place
