The sadest day I ever lived

was when you said goodbye

and I shall never love again

until the day I die

You were my night in shining armour

but one day you came to say

that you had no more love for me

and then you simply walked away

My days are spent in endless grief

and many are my tears

my love for you was awesome, love

and would have lasted through the years

Today I sit and think of you

and wonder where you are

in whose far world do you travel now

or under what dark star

Your always with me in my heart

I love you ever long

and every time I hear your name

tis like some lovely song

I would have been your own true love

but you chose not to stay

and my love is with you always

in each and every way

My days are darkest now my love

my head bowed down in tears

my sorrow shines deep in my soil

and shows me all my cares

I stumble now when ere I walk

this rocky road called life

and endless, will be my lonely days

and filled with tears and strife

I hope you're happy now today

and life is so worth living

and in my heart I hold you safe

while all my world is grieving

Ypu were my knight in shining armour

and I'll love you for all time

I'll hold you safe with in my heart

and know you can't be mine
