In the starlight I can see him

dark eyes shining black as coal

wavy hair with wings of silver

with a smile to bore inside my soul

A voice that is so sweetly singing

a banjo playing sweet and low

somewhere in the Florida sand hills

he makes my heart to lose control

Tight blue jeans so tightly fitting

cowboy boots so old and rough

tender kisses, sweet like honey

and I cannot get enough

Be still my heart and calm your beating

emotions running free and wild

be still my love and stand beside me

and plan on staying for a while

I know that I can't live without him

for with his love, I feel so well

and with this magic of the night time

I know, on me he cast his spell

slow, slow dancing in the night time

with his arms around me tight

makes me feel so warm and happy

as we make wonderous love tonight

Now I lay so close beside him

and he whispers of his love

let joy come and then surround us

as on wings of love we soar above
