Hands Against His Own

Even poets
And wise men
Cannot claim to understand
The madness and depravity of man

For they,
As all,
Desire and think fondly on
Joy and glory by the light of day

No one sets out in life to be miserable.
And so even misery
Will be glorified
By it's mystery

Those who could understand best
Are better off dead
And they know it,
So...

Hey I think your poem is brilliant! Bravo!

But I don't know if that's true, cause for one misery loves company, and there's been plenty of persons who have pulled through to vouch the difference, but of course there are those few cases, those very few cases where there's always an exception to the rule... Thanks for a great read :) SS
