eyes of sunshine spreading forth
a glistening hopefulness found
as she dances blissfully
in his eyes a reflection shown
(her dress as roses bloom,
her hair in light shine forth
eyes as sharps as razors
cut through his pending heart
from winter he has been burrowed
in season a time has been due
her springtime bringing an ocean
of permanent love pouring through)
he speaks in melody
she twists and turns in the grass
but once in a moment of passing
she stops and her eyes appear glass
(see through the heartache and hiding,
see passed all the covering words
her embers now slowly digesting
