Lost in a world of material things
Where money and luxury brings-
A smile and happiness
But I can't understand this
The 3 words I love you, mean less then a diamond ring
The songs that we sing
Seem meaningless and unknown
Unless it's handed on a golden platter your chances are all blown
It's all about the money the clothes that you wear
And if you don't get that car, you cry it's not fair
You bitch and complain in every way
But then again that's the type of world we live in today
A world of Material bullshit
For a true feeling and meaning I'd get rid of all of it.
This is SO true. It is a very sickening thought to think how little a value we are to the world.
